Sebastian Arce y Mariana Montes (Argentina)
Sebastian Arce and Mariana Montes have done a lot for promoting tango overseas by their love and commitment to teaching, organizing tango events, and dancing. Their work has taken them to visit since '99 over 140 cities, 35 countries, and counting?
As teachers, Sebastian and Mariana are among the most required, participating yearly in nearly 40 big scale events in Europe, Asia, North America, and Latin America.
They have produced as well 13 great scale tango events in France and USA (mephisto tango summer festival 2002-2006; Revirado Tango France 2002-2003; C.I.T.P. 2006-2007, Neotango Fest USA 2005-2006, Antipanico USA 2005-2006), and concerts with tango orchestras such as Fernandez Fierro, Orquesta tipica Imperial, Hyperion Ensamble, La Chicana; and electronic tango orchestras such as Bajofondo Tango Club, Gustavo Santaolalla, Tanghetto, Electrocutango and many others.
Choreographers of the show 'Piazzolleando' presented in Italy, Belgium, and England. They are co-directors of the show 'Exodo Tangueando' alongside with Chicho Frumboli. And nowadays prepearing their new show 'Ensayando' with 5 couples and a tango orchestra.
Sebastian Arce and Mariana Montes have kept their pedagogical activities around the world non-stop since 1999. Their names are easily found on the top of the casting of the most renown yearly international tango events, such as Mantova Tango Festival (IT), Amsterdam Tango Festival Tangomagia (NL), Torino Tango Festival (IT), Tango Revolution (IT), 59 degrees Tango Festival (SW), and many others, and last but not least, the biggest tango reunion of them all the C.I.T.A. (International Tango Congress inArgentina).
In February 2009, Sebastian has been named 'ACADEMICO HONORARIO ITINERANTE' by the National Academy of Tango in Buenos Aires.
From their gathered experiences, Sebastian and Mariana have developed their own teaching methodology (T.M.E = TANGO MULTIPLE STYLES) based on the harmony between conscious and unconscious body control applied to movement/non movement, and changing in tango philosophy a the vision of style, a vision detached from the singularity of style. Their methodology also focuses on awakening senses before applying them to the dance (understanding of relationship stimuli ? answer, physical and theoretical/ sensorial and auditive), and have as a final goal the self expression, the research of your own dance from the needs created by the student's own tango path, paying much attention to the non-movement, the introspection of the dance, the contemplation.
Federico Naveira y Ines Muzzopappa (Argentina)
Federico Naveira started dancing at the tender age of four, and studied many different artstic disciplines as ballet, modern dance, theatre,, music, etc., which gave him great knowledge and understanding of the dance. When he has ten he started to "work" as assistant next to his sister Ariadna at the "Tango con niños" classes taught by his mother and teacher herself, Olga Besio, obtaining therefore a very enriching experience as teacher.
At the age of 13 he became part of a group of teachers who taught all kinds of students, and since then he hasn't stopped working as a professional dancer and teacher of Tango Argentino. Between the enormous amount of works made with their sister we can find the Tangomagia festival in Amsterdam, the Congreso Internacional de Tango Argentino (CITA), the Pulpo's Tango Week, the Festival Internacional de Tango Ciudad de La Plata, and festivals organized by the Government of the City of Buenos Aires, in addition to an outstanding work in the school Tango Brujo as teachers and as assistants to their mother's classes, added to a great amount of exhibitions in almost all milongas and several theaters of Buenos Aires.
From the year 2007 Federico began to work with different companions, like Carolina Del Rivero, Mariela Sametband and Milena Plebs.
In 2008, he was part of a group of young dancers with whom founded, directed and organized the Estudio Postango , where he stood out again like professor and dancer, generating in addition an important experience from a new point of view for his career.
Ines Muzzopappa began her learning in tango of natural and spontaneous way at teh age of 14 in the mythical Sunderland Club de Villa Urquiza. Among other things, Ines studied classic dance, song and music; elements that gave to a very good artistic formation and a deep development in the understanding of the dance.
In 2007 obtained the 1at spot next to Dante Sanchez at the V World-wide Championship of Argentine Tango in the category Tango Salon made in Buenos Aires, which allowed her to evolve like educator by starting to work as teaacher in different national and international festivals and in the most recognized Tango schools in Argentina.
From her beginnings she has danced all over the Buenos Aires milongas, making presentations in almost all of them with different companions.
In 2008 she was member of the group of young tangueros who founded, directed organized the Estudio Postango, and where also stood out like professor of this dance, generating and living a very important labor experience for her artistic and professional growth.
Pablo Rodriguez y Noelia Hurtado (Argentina)
In 2003, Noelia Hurtado and Pablo Rodriguez met in the prestigious Club Sunderland starting an artistic career together.
They have studied with professors Carlos Perez and Rosa Forte with whom they learnt the basis of famous Villa Urquiza style and also participate in Tango Argentino style Academy.
Noelia and Pablo made an intense investigation with important milonga professors acquiring the style and forms of tango as a popular dance as well as the new tendencies thus merging the traditional essence with modern tango. They combine the attributes of Villa Urquiza tango and milonga with new elements and techniques of contemporary tango. This couple builds an elegant style with the strength of traditional tango, great musicality and movement dynamic.
In 2006 they were selected as Metropolitan Champions of Tango Salon of Buenos Aires and Metropolitan Sub-Champions of Milonga. During this period, they performed exhibitions in the most prestigious milongas of Buenos Aires.
Noelia and Pablo danced together in different European countries such as: Great Britain, Italy, Switzerland, Turkey, Holland, with great success performing numerous exhibitions and workshops. They also were maestros of International tango festivals in Moscow (2008) and Brussel (2008), Basel, Antalya (2009).
Ütku Kuley y Elif Omuris (Turkey)
Ütku Kuley

He displayed remarkable shows in Istanbul Tango Festival, Tango Magia Festival Amsterdam and International Tango Festival Wuppertal, Sabor del Tango Ukraine and in famous milongas of Buenos Aires, such as Salon Canning, Villa Malcolm, Milonga 10, Bendita Milonga. Among the maestros of attended seminars include Sebastian Arce and Mariana Montes , Gustavo Naviera and Giselle Anne, Chicho Frumboli and Juana Sepulveda, and Javier Rodriguez. He works still as an instructor of El Encuentro.
"Tango is the key of my brain which is opened to the eternity"
Elif Omuris
Elif first became involved in Tango in Istanbul in 2007. Towards the end of that year, she met the teaching staff of El Encuentro, one of the leading schools in Turkey. There, she participated in the following international festivals, staging workshops and shows: International Istanbul Tango Festival, International Belgrade Tango Festival (Serbia), International Jordan Tango Festival, International Cyprus Tango Festival. A clear feature of Elif's dance style incorporates both modern and traditional elements of Tango. Also in evidence are aesthetics, subtlety and musical interpretation.
"For me, Tango is as natural as breathing, as inaccessible as passion, and is all-encompassing in my life. I throughly enjoy expressing this message in both my dance and workshops."
Pablito Greco y Calliope Peratinou (Greece)
Pablito Greco & Calliope Peratinou is a new professional tango couple that focus in the combination of powerful physical capabilities and energy connections with music interpretation.
Pablito Greco is dancing tango intensively since 2004. Working with some of the most important instructors/dancers in the field of tango (Pablo Verón, Julio Balmaceda, Roberto Herrera, Raul Bravo and others) he managed to create a personal style that respects the profound meaning of the dance and produces the maximum expression and communication through the body and soul of a couple. In 2007 he introduced the unique physical method “TangOrthopedicS®” that produces a fast, easy and efficient tango dance.
Calliope Peratinou has graduated from Veaki Drama School in Athens in 2006. Beside her acting career, she studied professionally oriental dance and international latin dances. In 2006 she started dancing and studying tango. Through many years of hard work, and after taking lessons from some of the most famous tango maestros, her dance became both, technically and highly instinctive. She is choreographing, performing and giving tango seminars in Thessaloniki and the rest of Greece since 2009.
Lucas Gatti y Daniela Demofonti (Italia)
Lucas Gatti
Ex professional football player. He started to study tango in the 2005 after finishing his career as a football player.
Totally influenced by his first teachers; Pablo Villarraza & Dana Frígoli, he started to find sense and answers in his dance when he realized he needed to work and understand tango from his own body.
This is how he starts a personal and silent research that takes him, 5 years later, to develop a technique that looks forward to give the students the tools to create their own, fluid and comfortable dance, independently of styles and other pre-concepts in which he does not believe.
This technique is the result of 5 years looking for answers for his own dance, mixing his knowledge on sports, his interest in studying with many other teachers, his curiosity about other disciplines and his deep love for tango.
Tango & football, in argentina, share the same identity. This is why his love for this dance has a lot to do with his life.
Teachers he studied with:
- Pablo Villarraza & Dana Frígoli
- Leo Calvelli & Eugenia Usandivaras
- Sebastián Arce & Mariana Montes
- Mariano Frumboli & Juana Sepúlveda
- Osvaldo Zotto & Giselle Avanzi
- Gabriel Missé & Alejandra Mantiñán
- Pablo Ojeda & Beatriz Romero
- Ezequiel Herrera & Maria Antonieta Tuozzo
- "El Pibe Avellaneda"
- Julio Luque & Veronique Guide
- Fernando Nahmijas & Valeria Cuenca
Actually works and develops together with Daniela Demofonti, a teaching method based on a deep and detailed body consciousness.
Daniela Demofonti
Starts her formation as a classical and contemporary dancer at Mimma Testa school in which she studies for approximately 10 years. After this, she directs her studies towards theatre with Francesca Romana Coluzzi.
Also studied flamenco, hip-hop, yoga and contemporary dance. These last two are still sources of study and researching.
Regarding contemporary dance, her main references are Sasha Ramos with whom she studies for 9 years and Rita Pasculli, choreographer of the dance company she joins for 4 years.
At the end of this period she starts studying tango, selecting it as prevalent form of expression.
Alicia Mabel Vaccarini, Gustavo Saenz and Osvaldo Roldán were her first teachers in Rome.
Then she deepens her studies with many other teachers such as:
- Osvaldo Zotto & Lorena Ermocida
- Damian Rozenthal & Celine Ruiz
- Damián Esell & Nancy Louzan
- Carlos Gavito
- "Teté" Rusconi
- Gabriel Missé & Alejandra Mantiñán
- Mariano Frumboli & Juana Sepúlveda
- Sebastián Arce & Mariana Montes
- Dana Frígoli & Adrián Ferreyra
She has taught and danced for 12 years in a large number of tango shows, not only in Italy but also all over Europe and Asia.
Actually works and develops together with Lucas Gatti, a teaching method based on a deep and detailed body consciousness.
Otros Aires (Spain)
After 6 years of career, 2 studio albums, 1 live album, a documentary DVD and 16 tours around Europe, North America and South America (including more than 60 cities), Otros Aires releases it’s third studio album.
"Tricota" is definitely an acoustic hinge between porteño tradition and modernity. Recorded with the collaboration of the different ¨Orquestas Típicas¨, this album delves into the fundamental orchestral tango structures, sometimes to praise them and others to subvert them, deconstructing and reconstructing a genre that it’s in full steam since its origins, 130 years ago.
Embracing the extremes and going further into it’s retro avant-garde concept, Otros Aires takes a fundamental step in the development of the style, for the first time, a typical orchestra and an electronic one get together for a common project.
Vocals, guitar, electronic sequences and artistic production: Miguel Di Genova
Bandoneon: Omar Massa
Piano: Diego Ramos
Acoustic drums: Martin Bruhn
Songs by Otros Aires are featured on several Electro and Tango Nuevo / electronic compilations: Tango Club Night vol 1 y Tango Club Night vol 2 , The Roots of Electronic Tango, Beginner's Guide to Tango Lounge, TangoMotion, Elevage Tango Sessions, Think Global Tango, Last Tango in Athens, Best of Kosmos, Bar Tango, Buenos Aires Paris vol2, Vallbal, Buenos Aires Late 1 y 2, Buenos Aires by Night, Two for Tango, Spanish Journey 2 and on the well known electronic music compilation Buddha Bar, among others.
Their videos have thousands of views on Youtube.

Budapest Orchestra Tipica (Hungary)
Orquesta Típica Budapest is a tango orchestra founded by three tango teachers.
Today, almost all of the members are adept tango dancers (singer, both bandoneonists, double bass and the piano player), three are also tango DJs, two academically trained musicians, two deeply involved with Hungarian folk music, and the singer, Julian, is a former professional opera singer, who happens to be a tango fanatic and one of the best tango DJs around, while still two of the founding tango teachers remaining in the group. This mix of talents makes the sound of the orchestra uniquely danceable, resembling the early golden age styles of Canaro, D'Arienzo and other great artists, but not refraining from (danceable) Piazzolla either.
OTB is an important part of Hungarian milongas, tango shows and festivals, now giving concerts and participating in festivals around Europe.
DJ SuperSabino (Serbia)
SuperSabino , D.J. "Tango Groove Master", playing in major worldwide tango festivals from 1999. ONLY GREATEST EVENT.
"Everything I’m trying to do – in my DJing, is about sharing emotion, my relationship with tango is pure emotion. To catch the mood of the night, and burn the floor is the D.J. mission."
DJ Dark-OH (Serbia)
For the past 5 years he has been "addicted" to tango, as a dancer, and now also actively as a DJ.
He is a regular DJ in the current Belgrade milongas, and he has also received an invitation to participate in the Istanbul Tango Festival in June 2011.
He sees DJing as a form of expression, but also as a demanding calling in the service of all the dancers at a milonga.
"Last night the DJ saved my life..." - as the line goes :)
DJ Virulazo (Switzerland)
DJ Virulazo (Oliver Krstic) from Luzern/Switzerland is a passionate Tango dancer and music lover.
Since 2008 he is internationaly invited Tango DJ on many festivals and marathons. The golden age of Tango between 1930 and 1950 is clearly his preference. The tradional Tango tandas are strictly adjusted and they are same in rhythmical, melodical and thematic content. Allegretto Grazioso; Allegro Appassionato; Moderato Espressivo; Vivacissimo are just few synonyms for the nights with DJ Virulazo!
You can simply not miss it!
Joerg Haubner (Germany)
My selection of music depends on the level of the Dancers and of course i try too feel what energy they need.
A good flow between rhythmical and lyrical is very important for me.
Dancers always can trust in the samemood inside of tandas , start with well known/familiar music, ending with a special.
I'm a perfectionist for the best sound i can get!
DJ Roberto (Switzerland)
The music shall let the people dancing and the dancers shall respect what the music tell them.
I'm djing mostly in Basel, Zürich, Switzerland.
Have my own Milonga in Basel.
Dj at Int. Easter Tangofestival, Basel, Switzerland. Djing on Festivals and Marathons wherever i'm invited. Always tandas with cortinas.
I play more often older tangos but as always, it depends who is on the dancefloor. For djing i prefer the hours between midnight and morning

OTKRIJTE OTROS AIRES!

Transportation
Belgrade offers rich assortment of travel options for all budgets.
With cheap direct bus lines from some dozen European cities, and slightly more costly and much slower train connections, Belgrade is an easy-to-access city for travelers on a budget.
Serbia’s main bus operator Lasta operates direct lines between Belgrade and Sofia, Prague, Genoa, Milan, Paris, Lyon, Montpellier, Amsterdam, Bratislava, Ljubljana and Zurich.
For more information go to www.lasta.rs
Due to poor state of rails in Northern Serbia, travel times to Belgrade can be unnecessarily long, with trains running many hours late. If, you, however, have the luxury of time, resort to http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en to find the optimal connection.
To most of you, however, flying from your home town straight into Belgrade tango shoes will be the prefferred option.
Belgrade's Nikola Tesla Airport is the main air transport hub of the Balkans with several dozen direct lines to major European, North African and Middle-Eastern cities.
There are regular flights to Belgrade from Amsterdam, Athens, Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, Bucharest, Budapest, Cologne, Copenhagen, Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Gothenburg, Istanbul, Kiev, Ljubljana, London, Malmo, Milan, Moscow, Munich, Oslo, Paris, Prague, Rome, Stockholm, Stuttgart, Tel Aviv, Thessaloniki, Trieste, Tripoli, Tunis, Vienna, Warsaw and Zurich.
